Nothing. That is the name given to him at birth. He knows nothing about his parents or where he comes from. All Nothing knows is that something powerful is drawing him to the South.
Ghost and Steve have been friends for years. But Steve hasn't been himself lately. Drinking is all he does now. The only thing keeping him alive is Ghost. But will that be enough to stop him from doing something stupid?
Lost Souls was dark and horror-filled, but I fond it beautiful and fell in love with it. Readers will find themselves drawn to the characters with sympathy, empathy, sorrow, love, and hate. I only wish there was more of Ghost and Steve at the end. If you read it you'll know why. I don't want to rune the story for anyone. I give Lost Souls five stars, though I would rather give it ten.
"The sky is purple, the flare of a match behind a cupped hand is gold; the liquor is green, bright green, made from a thousand herbs, made from altars. Those who know enough to drink Chartreuse at Mardi Gras are lucky, because the distilled essence of the town burns in their bellies. Chartreuse glows in the dark, and if you drink enough of it, your eyes will turn bright green.”
